Trinsic Solutions was launched in December 2003. At the time,
the plan was to look bigger than we were and to rapidly grow
to be the organization that we appeared to be.
As is quite common with startups, that plan was not to be and we
had to scale back our ambitions. By late October 2004 we had
become a one-person operation. In mid-November (our eleventh
month of business) we finally closed a few deals and reached the
break-even point.
In our second phase of business, we were essentially a lifestyle
business and were paying the bills and growing no faster than
necessary. We used subcontrators to augment the one-person team
and we learned a lot about how to run a business
and by mid 2007 found that we were ready to enter our third
phase of business which involves growth.
